Volkswagen Sarajevo d.o.o. is a manufacturer of automotive parts with its headquarters in Vogosca, a northern suburb of Sarajevo. Most of the company is owned by Volkswagen AG.

 

Automobile parts are mainly manufactured in plants.

 

Volkswagen Sarajevo d.o.o. starts production in August 1998. In it, Volkswagen owns 58% of the shares, and 42% of ownership belongs to Prevent Sarajevo.

 

In early 2004, the company started with the production of components for the lower car machine (sleeves, hubs, flanges, toothed wreaths, etc.), which today represents the main and primary production in this factory. The manufactured parts are distributed throughout the VW concern (VW, Škoda, Seat, Bentley).

 

At the beginning of 2011, the factory was also oriented to the production of special structures for the transport of parts, which today constitutes the fastest growing part of theproduction and the backbone of the factory’s operations.
